Have just got a rattle somewhere in the boot w203 wagon, it is really annoying, I can't seem to pin it down, number plate seems ok, the rubber guides are there on the locking mechanism.
Anyone any ideas?

Used to have a C63...
Checked under the floor to make sure everything is secured? (Spare wheel kit, etc).

Will double check, but seems good, it seems to have started after in was at Mercedes specialist for new front discs/pads and autobox service, sure it is coincidence though.

Locking wheel nut or something rolling around.

Rattles drive me up the wall in cars!

Probably a daft question but does it sound metal on metal, or possibly plastic on metal?

Wondering if a trim panel clip has broken and part of it is in behind panel...?
