Hello all.
Our W203 C220 CDI's starter has given up.
New part is about £516.

Can anyone recomend a business that turns out good quality re con motors?
I have seen a few on the net but I thought I'd ask before I ordered.

Cheers

I was... until you asked :)
She stopped to pop into a shop, and when we tried to start there was nothing. the key goes in and turns, but the starter will not turn. Battery is good.
Push start, and the car fired up straight away.

I have not checked to see what curent I get on the starter + cable.

You guys are ACE.
The stated fuse was blown. Replaced and now ok.
Hopefully it will not blow again, but for now very happy :)
Saved me alot of hassle for the school run in the morning.
THANK YOU!
