re-fixing wooden trim

On a E200 W210 elegance..... You know the little bit of wooden (well really its plastic) trim that sits over the speaker in the door - the little triangular shaped piece (just inside the wing mirror).
Well that has fallen off on mine. I have tried double sided tape, fixits, hotmelt glue and one after another they all fall off. The bit of trim should be just stuck to the speaker grille (which is metal).

Has anyone got any fixes for this?
