Do you know what your before and after figures are.
No mate GAD said an extra 57 bhp and extra 100 tourque but not checked it yet.....I will be but need new disks and pads on front and getting gearbox service as a precaution so after that a rolling road test
Nice gains, have you stopped putting your foot down yet? Lol
No mate it thrills me every time it get in it lol
Everytime I drive I make a consiucon effort not to put my foot down but I always fail.
I've got my C350cdi booked in on Saturday 6th October and can't wait to see what Will is gonna do.
From 227hp to 300 and 700 nm. I'm a complete newbie to remap and not that mechanically minded but it was reading about gad on here that made me give them a call and I can't say enough how knowledgeable will came across. I'd spoken with companies more local to me in the midlands and they just didn't fill me with confidence. Can't wait to see and feel the difference.
I think you'll be happy with the results, my car runs at 260bhp from standard, and I know after an ECU I am looking at roughly the same end results. Hopefully I will get this done next year.
Hi Capra. I'll post what I think once it's all done.
Makes a massive difference, in gear acceleration is incredible
Mine is fairly quick, but there cannot be many everyday cars that can keep up with you?
Isn’t the 250 bi turbo, whereas the 220 isn’t?
I keep thinking about a remap for my c220, just feel it’s a bit flat sometimes and my old vw Passat felt much livelier even tho it had much less bhp.
Had a chat with one of the mechanics at mbs in Southampton on Monday when I picked my car up for new engine and gearbox mounts. They offer remaps (altho they don’t have a rolling road), but he said they were experiencing a few problems on the 220 remap, apparently having some dpf issues. Kinda put me off, but I’m always interested to see other peoples experiences.
I had a custom map done on my VR6 corrado when I fitted a supercharger to it. As much as it absolutely flew, I was never 100% happy with how it drove and was forever tweaking and trying different things to try and improve it.

How did you get on mate ?
Hi mate. All done and it's great. Didn't know my car had already been messed with and not a good job done. Ant said it was a good job I'd come in as the ... i think he said diesel rail was made to boost way too much and I was lucky not to blow a fuel injector and limp mode would not have cut in.
So I thought I had 224bhp when I actually had 240bhp and 629 n.m when I thought I had 300 ish
So wasn't gonna get the results or gains I'd hoped for but I've now got 295.64 hp and 668.38n.m
And throttle response is really quick. Can't believe how much quicker the car pulls so I'm really happy
Ant seemed like a nice guy. He did explain a lot too me but most of it was lost on me... so all in all was expensive but I'm happy and confident it's been done by a professional.
Next on list is new rims.
Wow mate you was very lucky there ..... they deffo know there stuff at GAD eh ? I'm getting my autobox oil changed to be on safe side too then I'm gettingrims refurbished but jeeze that's expensive lol....glad your happy with your new flying machine....enjoy
Hi Billy. Very happy mate. Seems to just drive smoother too but like Capra, every time I make a conscious effort to not put my foot down.... I fail.♂️
This is a good forum. Thanks for the input guys.
You should get one of those digital tyre tread gauges like I did. A lot of my journeys are start stop. I've not had a remap yet, god forbid if I do!
fantastic stuff @Billy Bowden it was a pleasure meeting you and Im glad you are happy with the car.
Yes Naz still thrilling me . thanks for going the extra yards and picking me up from my mates it was good to drive back to your place whilst you were with us in the car.....thanks again highly recommend you to anybody
Hi guys been reading through this thread as I'm possibly looking to get my cla 220 a remap. It's 2016 so still has 1 year manufacturers warranty left. Would it be silly to get done now whilst the warranty is still valid? Would this be checked to see if they could get out of any repairs or am I being paranoid. Or could it be remapped back easy enough should it need to go in for a repair and what would the likely cost for flashing back and forth. Glad I found this forum looks like there's bundles of info on here that will come in useful. Cheers guys.
