Hi all,
I'm hoping you can help me make an informed descision on what model to get .... I do realise this could e a minefield so I'll try and keep te 'spec' short.
I have around £3,000 to spend and we (wife and sprogg) have a D reg 190e in bronze ... well, its a good car and thats what matters.
I will have to also get a merc for my own needs, and have browsed the 190, 230, 260, 300 threads trying to figure out which would be best to go for.
My main worry will be running and servicing costs .. who doesn't though, and want to keep these as low as possible.
As for performance ... I would certainly love something a little sporty such as a 2.6 190 or a 2.3 (or is this diesel ??) but am not really bothered, and will probably keep the old girl going for some years to come.
Anyway your thoughts and experience will be greatly appreciated .
Almost forgot - any recommended Merc specialists / service people down this way ? - Surrey, Caterham without dealership prices lol !
