Rear Axle Oil - SLK

Can you tell me type of rear axle oil and drain / refil capacity for a 1999 SLK? Thanks

High pressure hp80/90 gear oil.

1.5 litres approx, fill untill drippes out of the filler plug, allow to settle and thats it, refitt plug.

Sorry Malcom but the link you offered seems to refer to the manual gearbox (unless I read the info incorrectly) and the question above was about the rear dif.

Which leads me on to ask if the amount and type specified (by Ellsy Tanners) for the rear diff also applies to the W208?

Yes its the same for your diff two.
