Hi guys,

I recently bought a Mercedes C200 and the car has a dent on the rear bumper next to the exhaust. the dent is quite low down and not very noticeable and basically i can feel it quite easily from the inside too....was just wondering wat the best way to fix it wud be? i dun want to spend too much money fixing it and was hoping to be able to sort it out at home. Wud appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks.

Sometimes with a hot air gun its possible to heat up the bumper and then remove the dent that way.

best left to the pros though.

As jib has said you need heat to remove the dent, try wedging something behind the dent to get it back into shape..piece of an old brush shaft etc.. then heat the area with a heat gun, or a kettle of boiling water poured over the area..be careful ..wellies and all that.. and leave the wedge in until the bumper has cooled down again..
