Rear Control Arms W210

Hi my E300TD just had the four wheel alignement done..expensive..but the readings were really bad due to previous people trying to track the car....anyhows the rear O/S and N/S control arms are seized on and cannot be adjusted...so I went to my local dealer and explained the situation and asked him for a price for the parts.....Guess what? he said which part are you talking about, on the PC it shows three of them!!! Well if I did know then I wouldnt be asking would I...

So can anybody help and explain to me which control arm it is, Ive tried the link to the Russian website for diagrams but hasnt worked....any help would be appreciated...Thanks..

Only one of the arms has the adjustment for the tracking, (it also adjusts camber as well due the the offset angle). Your parts dept should know this. Did you get the work experiance kid

I must have done..he sat there with the computer screen in front of him and said to me "do you know which one theres a few of them"..I mean cmon...anyhows thank you for the information..

It is the tie rod. It alters the rear toe and is the only rear ajustment.

The part number seems to be 210 350 21 53 but you need to check with dealer for latest part number. Must give the VIN to dealer to get correct part.

Retail cost is approx £49 inclusive of all bolts etc. and is farly easy to fit.

I have assumed your car is a fairly early 210 model.

Hi kth286 sorry for the delay..studying for exams..pain of my life at the moment...

yes my car is a 1999 model, and i was told that both ns and os were seized and couldnt be adjusted, thanks for the information i will make some more enquiries now..cheers mate..
