Was at the service center,no evidence of fluid or any signs of weeping on either rear shock, few bits of rust on outer casings. The difficult question is will fitting new recommended shocks make any real difference. ?
I would have them fitted if it would.
The shocks are probably original.

Why would you change the shocks if the ones presently are not broken and fully functional.
Replacing for new may give you a marginally firmer ride if original or a rubbish ride if el cheapo

If the old ones are worn out then fitting new ones will make a big difference - especially to braking distances.

Next time you’re out have a look at other vehicles wheels, if they continue to “bounce” after hitting a road imperfection, then the shocks are knackered.

If you can get someone else to drive yours and you can follow (in another car or bike) then you can observe how yours are doing. (It’s also cool seeing your own car from the outside…) ;):D

All are fluid filled and most have pressurised gas in them to help reduce the oil foaming under extreme use.
So called gas shocks are exactly this.
