Hi all, just getting ready to change the rear front subframe bushings on my 2004 W211 - I have seen some videos of this job and I looks tough to do - but I,m going to give it a go .
My Question is - in the videos they get the rubber bushing out by various means and then they attack the metal interior ring on the subframe and remove it - then they press in the new bushing which does not have a metal ring around it. My new bushings don't have a metal ring around them -so do you need to remove that metal ring at all?
Thanks in advance, and any tips would be appreciated.
Is it a good idea to put new bushings in freezer prior to fitting?
