Rear View Mirror Rattle

Anyone had a problem getting their rear view mirror changed under warranty?
I've had a rattle that comes and goes for a couple of months now, putting a finger on the mirror stops it.

Problem is, if I take it to MB and it does not make a noise, will they take my word for it?

Give it for them for the day, let them know its intermintant and they should try it several times until the here it. Chances are they will just replace it, if are adament there is a problem.
