Hi.
I have just purchased my first Merc ML350, and I must say I am impressed.
Unfortunately the rear view mirror fell off last week and I have tried everything to stick it back on, to no avail.
I asked mercedes parts, but they could only recommend a new unit!!!
Can any one recommend something to glue it back onto the windscreen, that will last longer than an hour.

Hello and welcome

How is it fixed to the windscreen? Older cars used to have sticky pads (you can buy theses from Hellfrauds etc). Newer ones tend to have a fixing permanently attached to the windscreen that the mirror unit clips to. A lot go on at an angle then have to turned to lock on.

Please post a pic up of the mirror and the inside of the screen

Strange one this, as the rvm is usually attached to a housing thats goes from the roof to the screen.
what year car are we talking, as mentioned a pic.

Have attached pic of black fitting position on glass and mirror plate that connects . Have tried
3M stickers and araldite.
It's a 2010 'grand' model.
