Recommendations - independant mechanics in Kent / Sussex?

We are in Tunbridge Wells and have recently bought a 99 C43AMG Estate - which is a very nice car (understatement ). However, we might need someone to look at an occaisional clonk from the near side front suspension. Does anyone have a recommendation for an experienced independant garage in the area? The MB dealer in Tonbridge appears rather expensive - even for an MB dealer! For example, aircon regas £150.

AMG/Mercedes Specialist

Although it is not exactly "in your area" I use John Haynes Auto Techniques in Worthing, West Sussex to look after my 2000 AMGC43.

Quality of work is extremely high (they are all MB trained), they use only genuine MB parts and have a worldwide repuation (many of their clients do actually ship their rare Mercedes to them from overseas for restoration and servicing.)

David - thanks for that contact. I will try to find someone closer, but that is worth holding in reserve.

Not used them myself but I've had these people recomended to me by a chap with a very nice MB Sportline I met a couple of years ago.
