Reconditioned ABC parts?

Does anyone know if abc suspension components ie, struts, are available as remanufactured units or sold on an exchange basis? When the inevitable happens it would be nice not to be bent over by the local main dealer

Dont know of anyone who refurbrishes suspension struts, these are generally manufactured by various companies and you just have to price around..

I doubt it will be easy if not impossible to locate reconditioned ABC components, paricularly the struts due to the pressure these units operate under.

I may be wrong though, would be interested to see if someone can manage it.
