red and green lights flash when car is locked and unlocked

Hello there, my W202 has developed a fault with my spare key fob, when I lock and unlock the car both red and green lights flash.

It operates ok, the car will start and stop, but this does not happen with the fob I usually use I have followed the procedure in the manual to re program the fob, and the batteries are new. Has anyone else experienced this? THANKS

This normally indicates flat batteries in the fob, you say you,ve replaced them, but did you replace them last time you used the fob? (which may have been a while ago). If it was a while ago try replacing them again.
If the fob operates the locking it won,t need to be re-synched, regardless of what the red & green lights are doing.

Thank you, replaced the batteries and all is well. All the mods on the C230k must have cost you a packet, thanks again.
