Try this

Hold the button down for 4/5 seconds, EDIT: press fob button briefly twice.
Within 30 sec or less, put key in ingnition, and turn to position 2.

Does the door key opperate the central locking, or just the drivers door.

Oops sorry,

Miss wrote it,
Should have read. Press either fob buttons briefly TWICE and then put key in ignition, and turn to position '2'.

pardon the ignorance but just to check. Is position 2 the one where the warning lights on the dash light up?

Did you try it by double pressing the button.

Yes but no success. The alarm sets itself but no luck with central locking.
Apparently the problem started after he had a problem with his battery

Its a pretty straight forward system. Two wires from the Scorpion alarm interupt the Central locking control wire (as far as I know).

Pascal.

Will check some other scorpion data I have, later.

In the mean time try the above method again. And if you have a reset key for the alarm, reset that first.

Better still, If you obtain the number of the alarm (ie 915 or 838 etc), I can fill you in with more info. Scorpion 838 (single CC wire control) was fitted to early MBs
