Remote locking E320 W124

The Alarm on my 1994 E320 has never worked with the remote keyfob. I Think its been turned off with the small round key which is under the passenger airbag. If I was to sort the Alarm out would that mean the central locking would lock/unlock the car with the remote keyfob. I think its the standard scorpion Alarm which is fitted.

It should do. Did you get a certificate with the car? That will tell you more about the installation.

I didnt get a certificate. On the back of the Fob is printed MPT 1340 W.T Lincence exept. Does that mean anything??
