Hi all
Is there any sites or videos that demonstrate the removal of a NTG 4.5
I can see one for NTG 4, but I am struggling with one for the NTG 4.5

I need to pull it out at some stage as I plan to install a rear camera.

Cheers

Prize off the silver fascia/vent trim and when you unplug the vent light cable tape it to something you can see otherwise it will fall into the dash and you'll forget about it. Looking down on the head unit you will see a screw on each corner, unscrew each about 1 cm but don't completely remove. Tapping the head of each screw down will release the wedge like mechanisms which hold the unit in place. You'll have a better idea of how it is restrained once you tap the screws down. It does come out very easily if they are tapped down far enough.

Great, I shall have a look in a week or two when I get a little time and the camera has arrived.

My NTG4 would only accept an NTSC camera, no idea if the 4.5 is NTSC only, it might have an option for both NTSC and PAL in the settings.

I know from a youtube video that there are three options to look at for the camera. I will power the camera up, connect it at the back and then see what comes up.
Thanks for the heads up though as I could be there for ages wondering why a camera does not work only to find it is PAL and that is the problem
