Removing a 300TD side window preserving the rubbers

Hi all,

Anytips on removing W123 windows, I have a rust spot under the nearside seal and need to remove the window to fix it.

MB charge £149 for a new seal but only can get them for the drivers side... guess which side I need to fix... thats right, the passenger side (Not that I would spend that kind of money on a window seal)

Does anyone have anytips?

Plenty of silicon on the rubbers before you start, remove the fixing part and do it when warm, try and use plastic utensils to not damage the rubbers, one the fixing part is off they come out easily

Thanks for the response, by the fixing part do you mean the chrome inserts?
