Model: C220 CDi
Body Type: W203
Transmission: Automatic
Part Number: Unknown

The mirror, headlamp, fog lamp and headlamp level control switches are on the right of the dash board.

This image shows the two independent modules this console is made up of.

1. Pull off the fuse box cover. – Open the drivers side door, and look on the side of the dash board. You will see a little notch to put your finger in, pull firmly.
This is the module you will remove.

2. Remove the screw holding the fuse box in place, then slide the box down, it should come loose.

3. Now you will see the back of the hand brake assembly. You need to remove the handbrake lever to access a screw.
Use a screw driver to pull the metal cable towards you. This will free it up, and the ball end will come out.

.

4. Now pull out the Hand brake leaver.

5. Look up at where you pull the lever, you will see three screws. Remove the top one.

6. Looking at the side of the switch console, you will see a wide metal spring clip. There is also one on the other side that you cant see.

You need to push them both in and push out at the same time (it would help to have girly hands).

7. Thats the control unit out. Now you need to dis-attach the cables.

8. First start with the headlamp balance control. This has 2 thick cables attached to it, a baby pink and baby blue. There are some thick clips, use a screw driver and gently prize it outward, then do the other.

9. Now the main connector, looking at the connector from the back, you will see a notch, this needs to be pushed down, then push the little lever assembly back at the same time. This should make it automatically slide out.

I think your DIY postings are really good and will be used a lot in the future as these items begin to fail as the 203s get older. Thanks
