Hi All,

Someone damaged my mirror frame and now that I have bought another one, I am trying to put my existing Mirror cover onto a replacement frame, please see attached pictures, I have taken out the 3 screws that hold the mirror revolver onto the frame, but i dont know what to do in order to take out/detach the cover from the frame pictured.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I too was faced with this problem and after going the hard way about it realised how easy it could have been.
where the face of the mirror (black bit) meets the door you should see a small hole . Stick a screwdriver in it and within the mirror is a right angled stainless steel tab, hook this up and the whole plastic cover of the mirror will slide off.
you dont even need to remove it from the car as long as it can be folded right back

Nothing much really, just replace the 3 screws and plug it in, then re fit the triangle cover

Best to fit the frame, then the cover, followed by the glass
