hi
just joined, i have a 2000 clk320 that i have had for the last 4 years, bought it of ebay and it's still working!
although the heater blower motor is playing up, worked intermittantly for a while and has now completely stopped.followed a few threads to see the best way to take the motor out to check it over, but i cant find any diagrams on location for removal. if anyone can point me in the right direction i would be grateful.
thanks in anticipation

Hi,
If you look in the DIY section of the forum, I believe there is a thread regarding replacing the pollen filter/blower motor/regulator in a W202, it is almost exactly the same as a CLK 208.

Sorry to open an old thread but I need to drop my heater blower in my 1998 clk this weekend as its dead. I've looked througt the threads on the removal in the diy section but most of the links are dead or broke. Could anyone paste me a guide on how to remove the motor. I took the facia off under the dash in the passneger footwell but was met with a mass of moulded plastic casings/covers? Do I have to take these of to get the the blower motor? I assume the bushes are worn as power is going through the fuse ok.
Any fools guide would be great.

Top man, thank you very much.

You're welcome.

If you through my posts you will see I had to repair mine last year, but some months later the blower motor itself failed as large segments went open circuit. Definately give the brush replacement a go first though.
