Just had to get a puncture repair... again.

Alloy now sporting all the fibrous, gunky cack from the old weights' adhesive pads.

Tried Gunk, tried soaking in white spirit...

Anybody had success with other methods plllllllease??? :(

I've a orange based spray adhesive remover, works very well - Ambersil is the brand IIRC

IPA ? (wait for the CAMRA interruption....) or acetone /nail polish remover to you and I

Run out of IPA... May have to "borrow" some of lady's stash of nail gunk.

Lighter fluid (petrol) Guy. Always worked for me...

Bu55er. Have neither to hand. Although I have a pen-knife, and unpleasant neighbour's car nearby... :)

Thank you team! Time to get the summer wobblers back on, so want this one back ship-shape first.

have you got a burning wand for weeds? More importantly the butane cannisters for it or a portable camping stove? same stuff as Daveenty suggested....

Negatory!

Had to persist with white spirit, soaked kitchen towel, pressed on and left for a minute or two. Think bit of direct sun helped soften... As did one of my trim removal tools.

Try a tar remover e.g., Autosmart Tardis.

Sent from my SM-A505FN using Tapatalk

Tried a tar remover before, on bodywork (can't remember which brand), and it was not much cop. Will have to get some Autosmart!

About 3 times an hour, for the first 2 hrs after completion of Operation Round Things!!!
WD40 is excellent at cleaning hands, a teaspoon of sugar in fairy liquid is also very good at getting really ingrained oil and dirt out of your paws.
