Does anyone have any knowledge of cleaning the air mass/flow meter in a 220E? I am getting over rich mixture and "hunting" at idle.

If cleanings the solution, does anyone know how to do it?

If it needs replacing where is the best (cheapest) place to get one?

My thanks in advance.

I believe most people just remove it, and dip the filament (NOT ANY CIRCUITRY) in an alcohol solution. Don't touch the filament with any tools.

I've heard that some people have had success with carb cleaner. If you do need to replace, there are factors that do recons now. (its only the filaments that go anyway - the rest lasts forever) Do a google search. I believe bba-reman do them but there are several others too.
