Replace the coils on my 280 SLK

A coil on my 2008 280 SLK recently failed and was replaced by my local dealer. Its been suggested they should have changed all 4 coils rather than just the defective one. That would be quite an expense so does any one have a view as to whether that's really neccesary? Thanks.

If the others are working , leave them for now .

Modern coil springs don't sag, just break. 3 so far on CLK
64 year old 190B still has original springs covered in rust

I did, although the 280 should have 6...

Apologies, yes ignition coils and i did puzzle when the local dealer said it had 4 coils given its a V6. Is it 6 or 4?
