I am considering replacing the wheels on my 1993 W124 300E.
It looks to be (on the surface anyway) to be not much more
expensive than having the Merc originals (15" 195 65%) re-conditioned.
It's the hassle factor really, the nearest re-con I found that will do a drive in-out job is 120 miles away.
What size rims will I need say for a 55% profile. I know nothing about the figures I have seen on some websites i.e offset? As a guesstimate a 17" 205 rim appears ok if fitted with 55% profile.
I would prefer a re-con to original.
