I am told that my W124 estate 4 speed auto box needs a rebuild because it is leaking fluid amongst a number of other problems.
Given the high cost of labour, I am wondering if I can retro fit a 5 speed auto box from a later model.
Has anybody tried this conversion or does anyone know if it is a practical or impractical proposal?
