Just considering changing the front seats in my w202 c class (suffering from a bad back and want something more comfortable than the standard classic trim!). Any suggestions as to how, where from, how much etc. will be gratefully received.

Before you do this, have you considered employing the services of an osteopath, and going from there?

They can help identify the root causes of back pain, and the massage is very nice indeed :) I always fall asleep :D

For instance it could be something as simple as the wrong insoles in your shoes, or a slight change in seating/steering angle.

I'm getting physio treatment at the moment (which isn't particularly relaxing!), the injury stems from a car accident where somebody hit my stationary car from behind at 50mph, so I'm not sure insoles will help! The drive to work (45mins) just seems to exacerbate it. I will try your advice to reposition my seat/steering wheel, but for the most part I find the seats very hard (good for longevity not for posture!). Thanks for your post.
