Replacement interior bits - where can you get them ?

Anyone know where you can get replacement heater vent control knobs, wing mirror adjuster plastic handles, ssun visors and all those sort of details. Need them for a 107 - 280 sl 1983.

Any help appreciated.

Poor Service!

I just hope "the Garage" get you the right parts first time.........
My experience was-
Next working day service delivery took 4 days.
Ordered 4 items, only 1 correct.
They never returned my calls.
Charged me for parts I did not receive.
The sum offered to refund me was without the VAT I paid!
Took me over 6 months to finally get a refund from them! :twisted: ? yet VISA came to the rescue after only 2 months .

Do you really want to use them?

All the above is true & documented. I am not vindictive- just that I do not like poor service or people who can't/wont use a calculator.
Sorry, don?t know any other people for you to turn to.

You could try Nick Mercedes (can contact him through the spares forum). He has LOADS of old mercs he is breaking, and he seems very reasonable on price.

I too have had Very Bad experiences with "The garage"......I ordered some new interior plastic peices for the sides of my seats ....they never ever turned up and no refund was ever given........barclay card gave me my money back though .

yes i have to agree with White 190 i purchased an orignal 2.3-16 owners manual from THE GARAGE who charged me £5.00 +vat delivery. 5 days later it turned up in the post. total cost 75p plus an envelope. RIP OFF MERCHANTS!!!!! and the last page of the manual was torn out!
