Replacement/spare key needed

Firstly, apologies for duplicating this - I think I put it in the wrong forum at first - after looking at some of the topics there it looks like it's more for specific technical problems.

I've got a 2010 E350 estate, and only one key, so I want a second.

Have seen recommendations for RMK, but he's in Brum and I'm in W London.

I don't want to drive all the way up there, nor pay for him to come to me - I've asked him for a price based on meeting half way, but he's not replied yet.

In the meantime I've found someone much more local, A1 CarKey (anybody used them??). The product is a "3rd party case with genuine guts". Should that be a concern? Mind you, I don't know if RMK or anybody else supplies genuine MB ones, apart from MB.

The RMK guys do work in and around London anyway so ask them for a date of when they're next in London anyway....it wouldn't be a special trip that way. I've used RMK twice over the past few years and they've been brilliant both times....much better than a stealer and their Merc knowledge is excellent too. I spent 30 minutes going over my newly bought car with them and they gave me insight into known areas which may fail and to keep an eye on.

RMK provided me with genuine MB keys both times, but the fobs themselves are not brand new but you'd be hard pushed to tell. If you need/want a brand new key I'd say go the dealer route.

Glad I read this as I need another key sometime and the last time I looked at the RMK website they didn’t include the 212
