I need help from anyone who knows about power windows in the W140..
I finally bought the lift mechanism to replace my broken one. I decided to fit it today. I've taken off the rear n/s door card and pulled the motor free(the motor works perfectly by the way). The lift mechanism is held in place by what look like rivets. How on earth do I undo them? They can't be turned like screws. I've left the card off and come to my computer-does anyone out there know how to remove the old lift mechanism ?..
Any advice much appreciated..
