Reset automatic window in keyless vehicle

2017 E220 d estate - drivers window wants to sit in half open ‘pinch’ position.
All instructions I find relate to resetting with key in position 1.
How do I reset window in this vehicle which is keyless start

you should still be able to have the ignition on without starting the car pal , do you press the brake to start it usually ?

Push the keyless button with your foot off the brake. That should light up the cluster without starting the car and be in Pos 1.

To reset the window, do as above then lower the window fully on the door button. hold it a couple of seconds then raise it to the top and again hold it a couple of seconds. That should have reset the window. Do this with each window switch to reset each window..

Tried the above but no joy.
I can close it manually so no rain ingress.
It’s in to Mercedes on Monday for safety recall so I’ll ask them to set it

I seem to recall it's in the manual.
You do need to hold the button about 5 seconds or so.

Try removing the starter button and using your key in position one?
