responsive problem

My 1998 C200 saloon seems to be spluttering a bit when I pull away. Sort of nearly stalling or choking. Little bit unnerving. Rest of time is fine.
Also didnt start first time yesterday took three times and some throttle. Any thoughts please?

Do you know how long the leads and spark plugs have been in your engine ? .

im led to believe about 18 months. however only done 4000 miles in that time if it makes a difference?

Sounds like MAF to me, but you’d be ill advised to change it without a code scan
