Hi
few weeks back we had a long chat about bodywork. My car had a few stone chips that I was unhappy with and I scratched the roof puting it back on for the winter :( thanks to a nice person in a car park I also collected a 6 inch scratch to the front bumper  Anyhow I put the car in to a chap just outside bath to get a respray of the front panels and the hardtop here are the results 8) 8) 8)

The colour is ember red I have not seen many cars in this colour.

The chap is in Paulton which is about 10 miles west of Bath

Chaps name is Ivan

Paulton Bodyworks

I got the cost down to £400 on account of the fact that he had just done some more work on my old car. His prices are always resonable though :)

Best regards,

Peter

As far as I know it was just sanded down primed and painted :) there was a small dent in one of the wings that would have been filled but that was it really. He ended up painting both sides of the hardtop as there was some chips in them as well :) so I got a hardtop respray for free $$

Still need to decide what to do with my car. The paint's original, but needs a couple of repairs. Front wings and the bottom of two doors. I'll probably wait and get the whole car done.

cheers,
I need to refinish the alloys at some point. The machined finish on them is a really nice touch. But the difficulty is getting someone that can refinish them to the original standard :)
