I've just bought and fitted one of these from here cost me under £8 delivered.

Quite simply a massive improvement over the (20th century design) Bosch metal blade that was fitted about 6 months ago at great expense!

My bargain of the week. :D

Hi,
fitted one of those. There is about 5 centimeters on the outside (not above) not wiped because the wiper does not bend properly towards the screen. I could not live with that!

i Have just Bought a 2006 C class with the flat blades already fitted. I previously had a 2004 Volvo S60, i retro fitted the blades from Auto bulbs and must say they were the best blades every had.

I usual do approx 40K a year and had the blades on the car for a year and still cleared the screen as good as when i bought them

My 2004 C Class had them fitted when I bought it about 2 months ago. Since then it hasnt rained, so I have had no chance to see how good they perform. However, they LOOK good and sit quite flush to the glass. Not like the old style blades that sit quite proud of the windscreen and have multi tensioners all along the arms length. Much sleeker and modern. I assumed they were standard fitment on Mercedes.

Are you sure you got the correct 24" blade? Mine sweeps perfectly as the flat blade is far more flexible bending to suit the screen far more readily than the traditional metal blade. Full pressure point of contact across the entire length of the blade too rather than just the four hinge points on the old style blade.

I actually have 20/20 vision during heavy rain showers now, which is nice.

Bosch are missing a trick here, they should ditch the old metal blades and move into the 21st century.

Maybe I got a faulty blade?
