They are an amazing engine, you can feel the pull when accelerating and almost AMG territory. Fuel is excellent at 25. something around town. mine is showing 26.1 over 4k miles. Certainly no problems in marrying the 7g to this engine.

They are quite different. I've driven both the 5500 definitely has the performance edge and snarls etc more.

It is almost 1 second faster to 62 mph over the 113

Well I got the V5c for the BMW in Thursday's post and my buyer turned up last night and took it away. Collecting him from the station only a few miles away in the BMW made me realise that I have made a big decision and got it spot on, I'm in love with driving all over again.
Am I one of the unluckiest people alive or what. Last week I have lost a brand new pair of reading glasses, and on Wednesday coming home from my mothers I drove over something in the road at the mouth of a juction and it has marked the lower part of the bumper, it will need a smart repair. Fuming does not come close, third time driving my new car. I was not doing more than 20mph as I had to give way and it was just dark enough to not see what it was, AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHH.
