Reverse Camera Power Feed

Hi guys,

I'm trying to install a generic reverse camera on my W163 and I was wondering if anyone new which wire carries the power to the reverse light on the 163. thanks.

On my C class the n/s is grey / blue the o/s is grey / yellow.
No guarantee of your being the same but may be lucky.
The easiest way to meter it is to push a needle through the insulation and mater the needle to chassis with the light on.

Thanks for that,I will check it out tomorrow. Don't really understand the needle bit though.

Push a needle/pin into the plastic insulation on the wire, join you volt meter or test lamp to the needle/pin and the wires are not damaged.
