Being relatively (5’10”) short I had no issues with reversing the SL...wasn’t out of the garage much mind!

R230 or R231? I think the R230 is a little shorter..

I did buy for the gadgets as I am a bit of a gadget freak which is why I chose the SL500, it had the same gadget spec as the SL63AMG but at the knock down price of £109,000 as opposed to £165,000 lol. The important thing was it did not have Active suspension as I was worried about it's reliability after reading the R230 horror stories on here. Yours seems to have lasted so looks like I need not have worried!

We are slightly OT but .. I follow a couple of USA forums and well and have not read about any issues on the ABC - very happy I ordered it. I ticked most of the "gadget" boxes when I ordered mine.
