i am looking at some reversing sensor kits for my ml , i have seen a few different kits on ebay one stands out more than the others as they will spray the sensors to your colour code of the vehicle .
the problem is they do 3 different type of sensors and i was wondering if any one as put aftermarket sensors on and what type ?

I fit parking sensors at work, as the ML has quite a flat bumper so go with the smaller ones. They look much neater. If you have a tow bar fitted make sure these are compatable as tow bars can cause false alarms with the sensors.

I had a pro leccy friend supply and fit front and rear aftermarket sensors to my pick up.

He used ''steelmate'', they are quite a lot more expensive than those you are considering but 12 months later they are working very well with audible and visual warnings for both ends and the neat units show which side is getting close too.
He will not use rubbish and these are proving good so far, and replacement sensors can be obtained from the maker.

Totally agree with the Steelmate comments, they are what i use and have proved to be very reliable.

With the Steelmate ones the front ones activate when you put your foot on the brake, they then work for approx 10secs before switching off. Saves having them on all the time.
