New to Mercedes from Ford so please bear with me if my questions appear a bit dumb
Just found out that the revs on my A class 170 CDI (1999) are limited to 3000.
The EPC light is on. Does this mean that it is in limp mode.
Having diagnostic tomorrow.
If it is in limp mode I can't wait to get it sorted and see what difference it makes as I have no idea what a diesel should sound like or perform like..only petrol engines previously.. hopefully it will be better than it is now as it feels sluggish and loud..
Main question is What symptoms does limp mode present against normal running ??
