I am new to this site and was just wondering if any of you guys can help me.
I have a SL500 that has been water damaged, I have replaced most of the relays, control units, but am now left with a rather annoying light on the dash advising me the the roll bar has a fault.
I have taken it to MB they have connected it to their computer and it does not come up with a fault!!!, they have advised me to check all the connections which I have done and guess what the fault is still there. Micro switches on the wishbones are operating correctly.
The roof operates correctly so I know that it is just a wiring fault, has anyone come accross this problem and can advise me where to look next.
I am now very frustrated and would really appreatiate any suggestions no matter how small as I am sure that is something really stupid.
Thanks
