Roof bar for S213

Good evening all. New to the forum . Have just bought a e220d S213 estate 2018 & need to get roof bars for it. Does anybody have any experience of genuine MB ones or the Thule Wingbar Edge ?

MB & Thule are the same thing. Thule are a lower price.
Do you have a sunroof? You may not be able to open the sunroof with the edge bars fitted, or with a roofbox with a power grip that goes around the bar, or other accessories.
Do you wish to carry items wider than the bars? ie 4 bikes with their carriers.
Often Gumtree or e-bay will offer up deals.
Thule is a modular system that will serve you well for decades. Think forward and get all the locks keyed alike so you only need 1 key.

As an example. I bought a pair of wing bars for £50 off Gumtree, brand new never been used. The foot kit came from Tredz on an offer for £68. The foot kit sits above the roof rails in order that I can open my sunroof part of the pano roof. The wing bars are wider than the roof rails so I can fit 2 roof boxes if required. A combination of roof box and bike carriers. Bike carriers, ski rack. Roofbox, ski carrier.

My previous W221 had the MB roofbars, that are Thule with the Thule name and part number on the inside of the plastic covers.
