Hi i have just got this 2003/2004 CLK230 every thing seems ok except when i go to lower the roof i get this message an anyone please help

Just open and close that partition and check it’s shut .
Check the cars manual in case there are other tips ?

The struts had been dissasembled so I reconnected them thus pushing the flap enough to activate the microswitch and hay presto the roof works perfectly

Lube everything that moves , especially the metal receiving slot underneath the two shiny metal flap thingys that are on the rear deck when the roof is folded open . Then move the roof backwards and forwards a few times to work the lube in .
Check the oil level that is in the pump reservoir that is behind the boot lining on the left side .
