rough tick over on sl55

I have a sl55, and on start up ,the idle revs start on 1000-1200, then settle down after a minute or two,then the engine starts to vibrate at around 800 rpm, if I switch off and back on again it is usually ok -taking it to mercedes tomorrow, but I am interested to hear your comments

Is this related to your question on what octane fuel to use? There are quite a few AMG55 owners on here who should give you good advice. I would have thought it will also be listed in the owners handbook and possibly inside the fuel filler cap.
