Hi, 722.6 gearbox c240 ( 34K miles )
Noticed today that sometimes when I go into reverse it feels rough and lurches a bit as I shift, but then it's fine.
All other gears seem fine ( drive, neutral and park ) no issue at all.
No issues when driving either, nice and smooth through all gears and shifts up and down when it is supposed to.
ATF levels were checked a few weeks back at roughly 80c, and was towards the max line. The fluid seemed healthy, dark red colour.
It seems to subside completely sometimes, especially if I shift through the gears whilst stationary. But definitely haven't noticed this before.
Only thing is, the weather temp has dropped, wonder if that has something to do with it ?
A few weeks back I did replace the pilot bushing, and then top up the ATF with genuine fluid. But the rough when selecting reverse seemed to start today.
