How about this rugged W123 I encountered in Mauritania?

Unbelievable, for them, a W123 can be fixed until eh, I don't know. It can always be fixed, even when it's not 'possible'.

:)

Welcome to the forum Jurgen.

It is a shame that the hub caps are missing, though it would look better on alli wheels

Just go to Morocco - thousands of 123 taxis running around. The front of the markets look like a tatty merc compound. Literally hundreds parked up. I travelled in a few. They seemed to have replaced grab handles with handbag handles and the seats seemed to have plastic school chairs for bases but they're still running!

Yeah, I know, especially when you enter Morocco after leaving Ceuta:

And if you tell the taxi driver you travel with your own fridge, it's not a problem for them either

Those ol' Mercs just go on and on and on and on and on.... you get my drift. ;)
I'm sure a new Merc could do the same sat in a mate dad's W212 the other day looks good in obsidian black. The build quality is great feels fresh and I get a strange feeling when I sit in a well built German maybe I could call it exclusivety. Even though it was created by Market drones from Ingolstadt, Munich, Stuttgart and Wolfsburg. :)
