Rumbling and light knocking from ABC

Good morning all,

I have recently changed the rear struts on my 2008 CL63.
Car has now gone through its mot and height sits fine and goes up and down no problem, I can get it to go up and down when the car is stationary absolutely perfect with no noises.

when going along there is a rumbling noise coming from just one side. I have checked everything is tight. Also for several second after the car stops there is a light knocking/tapping noise from the same area. I am now hoping it is maybe air in the system? How likely is this? What can I do to diagnose?

ABC is a self-bleeding system so don’t worry about trapped air.

Ok thanks, I have investigated again today, if I select drive I get a light knocking (2 or 3 times) which resonates through the rear pulsation dampener. Then if I select reverse I get the same again..
