Hi all,
Any ideas on this one, just had both my lower suspension arms(front) replaced on the S due to the level of vibration through the steering wheel. Pulled wheel hub to chassis nice and tight and vibration gone. steering wheel wonky now. so heading off to get 4 wheel alignment reset tomorrow.
only driven 50 miles since arms been done. but yesterday afternoon "Run flat indicator inoperative" refer to manual popped up and showing the vehicle with squiggly lines under it on display.

Is this related to the suspension change or just a random coincidence. Any suggestion appreciated (all Tyre pressures are correct but steering wheel wonky )

Best regards

Any other errors to do with ABS or ESP?

No other errors at all, my icarsoft mb2 see's nothing.
I'll get the suspension re aligned tomorrow. See how it goes. As I said it just popped on as I was driving yesterday afternoon. Stops you from resetting as you can't override the error message.

That's an odd one, you've either got:

a flat tyre.
faulty wheel speed sensor.
dirty/ corroded reluctor ring.

Does your cruise control work?

Are you sure this not just your car asking you to check tyre pressures & to then reset the TPMS?

Could be getting confused wit the steering wheel being a mile off. It thinks its going round a corner so expecting higher values on one side relative to the other and not getting them.

Hello all,
As mentioned earlier took the car in for its 4 wheel Alignment today, went to a nationwide crash repair centre, based off a recommendation by my local Indie.
In simpler terms my front Axle left Toe 0.13 mins, right toe 0.47 mins - should be 0.07 mins +-0.03 mins
so in reality my total mins was 0.59 mins (degree) when it should be as it is now in total 0.14 mins with option of +- 0.06mins.

I drove about a 200 yards then the error just vanished from the display after alignment. I surmised when it arrived on my display a day ago that maybe the fact that the run flat indicator draws info from abs sensor re variation in rotation Dia that having a tyre pointing badly might mess with its assessment of matching 4 black circles. It seems the guess was right in my case.

Best regards

Hi Craig.
My 2009 C220 estate is showing ESP fault. Run flat indicator and the cruise control has stopped working.
Do you have any idea what is wrong?
I have just had Kwik-Fit put 4 new tyres on in a home visit.
They are due to come back on Monday to fit tyres to my wife's car.
Is there something they have done that has caused this?
Thanks.
Matthew

Glad you got it sorted. It just goes to show that computerized systems don't do logic.
