The viscous fan on my E300 TD AUTO is never "free". there is always considerable drag even when the engine is cold. On every other car Ive had they spin freely when the engine is cold, and only engage when warm. the temp gauge reachs about 70 at best and never excedes 80, whar should the running temp be? Im concerned that the engine may be running to cold for max. efficiency and min. wear. Any ideas? Keith
