Evening all,
as some of you may know, I have had my CLK for 3 or 4 weeks now and love driving it. I've sorted all the little problems out with it, but one thing that needs to be sorted is the little rust problem I have!
My question is, can I have this sorted out at MB? The car has a full MB service history. I have searched around on here and can't find a definite answer. It seems it's too early for the 30 year warranty, but some people are saying it may have a 10 year warranty.
I know they will try and worm out of it somehow. Just wanted to find out for definite before I take it up furthur.
There is basically rust on the bootlock (don't they all do that?!!) and a couple of little bubbles on the wheelarches.
I would have been sooooooo peeved if I had paid 40k plus for this (how much were these when new? It has most of the options on it) and then 9 years later get loads of rust! It would seem that rust is MB's bad point.
